Shannon Washington, a.k.a Shan, works for the city rebuilding trains. He has been a lifeguard at Jones Beach Field 4, Central Mall for 34 years and has saved over 400 people.

 

Shan entered the realm of photography by taking snapshots pictures of the ladies on the beach. He captured images of them posing with the lifeguards, getting hit by waves, or just looking drop dead gorgeous!

 

Many years later, His cousin Kenny who is also a photographer called Shan asking to collaborate on a power   shoot at Jones Beach. Kenny promoted the shoot while shan got the shoot destinations together. The day of the shoot they had designers, makeup artists, models, and about 8 photographers.

 

Needless to say, the shoot was successful and shan wanted in! He bought a Nikon D90 and it was on and poppin from there on out!
